Larissa Philpot-Brown, AICP

President and CEO

Mrs. Philpot-Brown served as the Planning Director for the City of Nacogdoches prior to the EDC. Larissa has a strong relationship with the community and business leaders. An Arlington, Texas native, Larissa is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, where she received her bachelor's degree in environmental science and a master's degree in public administration. Larissa worked her way up in the city's planning department, where she joined as an intern while still a student at SFA. She was named assistant city planner in 2003 and planning director in 2009, and earned certification through the American Institute of Certified Planners.

Mary Frances Bradford

Director of Business Development

Ms. Bradford's work experience, preceding her tenure at Nacogdoches Economic Development Corporation, includes 40 years in the medical profession as a Certified Medical Technologist with the American Society of Clinical Pathology. For 15 years Ms. Bradford held the Director of the Blood Center East Texas position. During that time, she also served on the NEDCO Executive Committee. Prior to her current position with NEDCO, Ms. Bradford volunteered her services at NEDCO in 2013. She comes with incredible knowledge dealing with the business community, expertise as a local executive, commitment to the city of Nacogdoches, and familiarity with NEDCO's programs and services. Ms. Bradford graduated from Nacogdoches High School and is a proud Stephen F. Austin Alumni, with a degree in Medical Technology. She completed Leadership Nacogdoches and held leadership positions with the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 3 years. Her current leadership positions are with the First United Methodist Church and the Fredonia Rotary. Mary Frances has three grown children and 2 grandchildren.
