Angelina College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) partners and provides a business owner with resources to plan, start, grow, and succeed.  The SBDC offers one-on-one advising services at no cost to entrepreneurs and business owners.  Advisors offer support in areas such as prioritizing goals, business plans, managements, financing and marketing to manage their business.  Advisors can assist with:

  • Creating a comprehensive business plan
  • Developing loan packages and identifying funding sources
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including financial projections
  • Evaluating business opportunities for starting/purchasing a new business
  • Business basics, marketing and financing
  • Technology and commercialization

As part of SFA’s Greg Arnold Center for Entrepreneurship, the Small Business Resource Hub (SBRH) works to promote economic growth, innovation, and expansion within the small business community.

The SBRH is housed in the McGee Business Building as apart of SFA's Nelson Rusche College of Business.  Available at no cost, the SBRH services for small businesses include loan proposals, marketing, retailing, advertising, budgeting, business planning and personnel management.

NEDCO's Assistance

Clients can meet with either the SBDC or the SBRH at their respective offices, or at the Nacogdoches Economic Development Corp. (NEDCO) office on the second floor of City Hall, 202 E. Pilar, in downtown Nacogdoches.
