NEDCO is pleased to announce that it will host a Small Business/Entrepreneur Resource Fair on Thursday, May 16, 2024. The fair will be held in the Banita Room of the Fredonia Hotel from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will feature a wide range of resources and information for small businesses and entrepreneurs in the Nacogdoches area. This is a community event for anyone who has a business, wants to start a business, or anyone who has business-related questions!
Don’t miss the kickoff at 5:30 p.m. with a panel discussion with three small business owners who have been successful in starting a business and will be there to answer your “how did you do it?” questions. Sarah Carthel, who recently opened the HTeaO franchise; Brendyn Todd, owner of Brendyn’s BBQ and Amy Mehaffey, owner of marketing company Small Town Socials. Local banker Dustin Beavers will facilitate the discussion.\
The resource fair is part of NEDCO’s ongoing commitment to supporting the growth and success of small businesses in our community. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with local organizations and agencies that provide valuable advice on topics such as banking, insurance, business planning, financial assistance, marketing strategies, accounting, real estate, information technology, and more.
